Medicare pays very, very limited amounts. You will be extremely disappointed if you rely soley upon Medicare to pay for your long term care needs.

Medicaid only pays if you are broke.

CONSIDER THIS:

If you have money, own a home or have other assets you will need to spend those assets down first. This is not a very good option for those who have saved and accumulated assets during their lifetime and want to pass those assets on to family members.
